Three CM/ECF events have been updated to create efficiencies for our filers:
-
Motion to Dismiss-Depending on motion and chapter type, filers may utilize new radio buttons to select if the motion is being filed under 14 or 21 days notice.
-
Statement of No Objection-The event now works as a text only docket event, similar to how trustees docket the information. Filers are not required to attach a pleading during the event, but the ability to attach any other documentation (e.g. indication of communication between parties, etc.) is still available in the event.
-
Adversary Case Opening-Two new questions are asked to determine how the filing fees will be paid. If the plaintiff is the trustee or a debtor-in-possession, an additional prompt will appear to inquire about deferral of the filing fee. If the plaintiff is the debtor, U.S. Government agency or a child support creditor or its representative, the filing fee will not be charged to these fee exempt filers.
